With the success of 3 Idiots, the career of Sharman Joshi has taken a new flight. This time not in Bollywood but on television commercials. Nokia and Airtel, the top most company of telecommunication, have signed him and he is rocking on the screen by sending love notes.
It didn’t sop there. The actor was in New Delhi on Tuesday to celebrate 70 years of restaurant chain KFC's signature product - Original recipe.
While he took chunky bites of a chicken leg at the press meet, Sharman said: “If KFC offer me for brand Ambassador, I will happily sign it.”
The actor said: “I am extremely happy when KFC offered me to be a part of its 70 year celebration. Its product is made by original recipe and I love to eat KFC’s products.”
Unnat Verma, Director Marketing, Yum Restaurant India, said: “The introduction of KFC’s Original Recipe was the biggest milestone for the brand, defining the irresistible flavor and taste of KFC. The rich history and defining taste of this product has been supported by millions of our customer across the world, especially In India. We are extremely proud of the success this product.”
Approximately 70,000 pieces of chicken in more then 70 stores will be sampled across India in the span of these seven days.
