Best Western International Inc, which claims to be the world’s largest hotel chain with over 4,200 independently owned and operated member hotels in 80 countries, opened its first international hotel, Best Western Royal Park, at Baddi in Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday. The hotel is spread across 2.5 acres and has new 51 rooms.
“It is a great opportunity for both of us - Best Western India group and Royal Park - to offer high quality of service and hospitality for which the group is known the world over,” Sudhir Sinha, president and COO, Best Western India said during the launch.

Ashok Kukreja, partner Best Western Royal Park, said: “Baddi can be called as pharmaceutical capital of the country, as half of India’s pharmaceutical production is based out of this township. This was one of the major reasons for us to develop a hotel property here.”

“Baddi has great potential of high occupancy and there is an opportunity to offer the international experience to its mainly industrial clientele,” Sinha, said.

“Apart from 24 x 7 service staff the hotel is equipped with international standard amenities and services to facilitate business activities in this township which were not available in Baddi and in the vicinity. Besides a coffee shop, rooftop restaurant, bar, conference & banqueting facilities, one can also opt for Spa, gymnasium and swimming pool facilities to be introduced very soon”  Kukreja said.
